Double-Board Certified, Fellowship-trained Sports Medicine Physician, Women's Health

Dr. Chaney Stewman is a double-board certified Sports Medicine physician. She provides musculoskeletal care to patients of all ages, spanning from pediatrics to geriatrics. She is passionate about women’s health issues related to musculoskeletal health, including managing female athlete triad syndrome and osteoporosis. Dr. Stewman has specialty training in concussion management, as well as diagnostic ultrasound and ultrasound-guided procedures.

Dr. Stewman obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from Oberlin College. She then completed her Medical Degree at Jefferson Medical College, now called the Sydney Kimmel Medical College. Her medical training initially started in the field of Radiology at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and consequently she is adept at interpreting imaging studies like x-ray, CT and MR. Dr. Stewman ultimately completed her training by completing an ACGME-accredited sports medicine fellowship at Christiana Care Health System in Wilmington, Delaware.
