Dr. Michael Pismarov is a D’Youville College Chiropractic Graduate class of 2011. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology at D’Youville in 2008.
He was privileged to take part in two significant clinical externships. The first, a clinical externship at the world renowned John-Hopkins Hospital in the Blaustein Pain Treatment Center, where he learned some of the most advanced pain treatment options in addition to focusing on an integrative and multidisciplinary approach. The other, a hands-on sports focus working with the Buffalo Bandits, a professional lacrosse team during the 2010-2011 season.
Dr. Pismarov has gone on to become a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner. He is a certified Graston provider with a special focus on functional rehabilitation of the spine and various myofascial release techniques aimed to improve athletic performance and treat sports related injuries.
When not treating patients, Dr. Pismarov is an avid volleyball player and weight lifter. He has had the opportunity to compete in several endurance events including sprint triathlons and half marathons.
